Probes
The process of extracting a continuous sample is just as important as every other stage involved with monitoring. The right approach, the right material and quality workmanship are all incorporated into probe design and application. A stream analysis of how much moisture, particulate, acidity as well as temperature and process manipulation is required. Probes are available in many configurations and many materials but the process determines which one applies.
Sample Transport Tubing Bundles
Datatek uses Cellex Sample lines exclusively and has for nearly 30 years. Tubing bundles sourced from Cellex have proven to withstand all environmental challenges from way below zero to extreme heat. Datatek also relies on PFA Teflon for it’s outstanding resistance to caustic as well as acidic conditions. Our lines utilize pulse fired Zero crossover controllers that apply power at only when zero potential exist. By using this technique sample line control minimizes overshoot and undershoot of temperature. Lines available in many configurations to suit any customers needs.
Conditioners
The probe takes care of the heavy particulate, the sample line keeps the sample above dew point of the process and the sample conditoner removes moisture, fine particulate. The sample conditioner takes care of the moisture and fine particulate while presenting the analyzers with a clean, dry sample. To accomplish this sounds much easier than it is, throughout the entire process sample integrity has to be maintained. That means no moisture carryover, no wash out of sample when removing moisture and fine particulate and minimize component contamination. Swagelok, Permapure, Universal are just some of our component sources, they may cost a llittle more but the end results justify the means.
